Yes — strips and housing are IP68 sealed, the highest common rating for dust and water. Powder, slush, meltwater and a board left wet in the trunk are all fine. The strips sit flush and flex with the board, so hard landings do not snap them off.

IP68 — sealed against dust and sustained water. Powder, slush, meltwater and rain are fine. Dry the charging contacts before you plug in.

No. Nothing is drilled, screwed or bonded into the board. The mount is removable and leaves the board as it was.
